We learned lots today about plants. First we learned they grow everywhere and they are alive. They are alive because they can grow, reproduce, and do other things that humans do. We also learned that plants are used for helping the environment and for making humans breathe better.
I think that we need to be careful not to give our plants too much water, but make sure that they have enough water. We need to make sure they get fertilizer and sunlight too. We can't let them get too hot, but don't let them freeze.
I think that the plants in the shade will grow faster than the plants in the sun because the plants in the sun by the windows will get too hot and burn up. I'm not sure, that's just what I think.

Comment by Corey: Shawn, you learned a lot from class today! I remember too that Ms. Hynes taught us to give plants food and water to take care of inside plants. We should give them fertilizer, but not too much.
ReplyDeleteI think that we have to be really careful not to give our plants too much water. One time my mom gave me one of her flowers and I gave it too much water and it died, so we have to be careful to give it a good amount. I think it should be cold for the plants too.
I think you are right about the plants in the shade grow better. The ones in sun will die fast.
